How many days do you need in Seoul for Thermage FLX?
For a Thermage trip to Korea, plan a minimum of two days in Seoul for Thermage FLX alone. Here is why:
One clinic visit is enough
Consultation and treatment take place on the same day. Thermage FLX is designed to work after a single session, so there is no series of appointments to schedule.
Little to no downtime
You can wash your face and wear makeup right after treatment. Mild redness or swelling can occur and settles within 1 to 2 weeks, so most patients return to sightseeing the same evening or the next morning.
No follow-up visit is needed in Seoul

What does a Thermage day in Seoul look like?
A typical Thermage FLX visit at our clinic in Gangnam follows four steps:
1. Consultation with Dr. Hwang

2. Numbing cream
Numbing cream is applied for comfort while you relax in the lounge.
3. Treatment

4. Aftercare and you are free to go

Can I fly home the day after Thermage?

Two practical tips for a long-haul flight:
- Keep your skin well hydrated on board — cabin air is very dry.
- Skin can feel dry after Thermage — moisturize about 1.5 times more than usual.
If you are sensitive to swelling, it is more comfortable to leave one full day before your flight. Rejuran bumps do not stop you from flying, but they may still be visible on the plane.
How many days do I need for Thermage and Rejuran together?
Many international patients combine Thermage FLX with Rejuran HB plus in the same visit. Thermage works on the deeper layers, while Rejuran improves skin quality closer to the surface.
Rejuran is injected by hand, so small bumps appear at the injection points. They usually last about 3 days to a week, and small bruises can occasionally last 1 to 2 weeks. They do not stop you from sightseeing or flying, but if you have a wedding, an event or important photos, allow 1 to 2 weeks after Rejuran. The combined visit takes about 3 hours.

Which day of my trip is best for Thermage?
When you plan Thermage in Korea, we usually suggest booking it early in your stay rather than on your last day:
Not on your arrival day
After a long flight, rest first. Jet lag and dehydrated skin make the day less comfortable.
Day 2 or Day 3 is ideal
You are rested before treatment, and you still have time to enjoy Seoul afterwards. If you add Rejuran, book it as early in your trip as you can, as the bumps take 3 days to a week to fade.

Seoul is full of temptations for visitors. For 1 week after Thermage, please avoid a few of them:
- Jjimjilbang and saunas — avoid hot places for 1 week.
- Smoking and alcohol — avoid them for 1 week as much as possible.
- Strong sun — wear sunscreen and a hat when sightseeing outdoors.
- Cold packs — even if your skin feels warm, avoid cold packs and cold-water washing.
- Facial massage — avoid lymphatic or deep facial massage for 3 months.
- Hard exercise — avoid it for 1 week as much as possible.
Gentle sightseeing, shopping and dining are all fine. Follow the specific aftercare guidance you receive on the day.
How do I get to the clinic from my hotel?
